A candidate for a formal interview should dress appropriately. Even if the interview is at a casual dining establishment, interviewers expect the candidate to be neat and clean and to avoid wearing jeans and sneakers. It’s a good idea for an interviewee to bring a resume to a formal interview as well, even if the employer already has a copy. The candidate should also be prepared for questions that will be asked during the job interview.
