According to the UK Council for International Students Affairs, the number of Malaysian students heading to the UK for higher education has been on a steady increase in the past few years. Between 2013/14 to 2015/16, the number has increased by 4.63 per cent to 17,405, making Malaysians the second largest (after China) Asian overseas student group in the UK.
