INTEC Foundation Studies: FRANCE
The French Programme prepares selected students to further their studies in Engineering in French universities approved by the Ministry of Education and Public Services Department of Malaysia. The pre-university studies is held at the language departments of selected institutions
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To fulfill the general requirements, students applying for the programme must obtain
at least C in Bahasa Melayu and at least B+ in English at SPM level.
Students must also obtain at least FOUR B+ and ONE B.
OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to read and write in the French Language after a period of six weeks. Students will be able to listen to dialogues and use structures based on selected topics of conversation. Students will be able to take down notes and later paragraphs from dictation pieces. Students will be able to communicate and interact effectively in the French language.
SPECIAL FEATURES
French language lecturers who are highly regarded by the French counterpart.Students will be able to communicate well in French after 6 weeks. Collaboration with the French Embassy and other French-related organizations in Malaysia in order to introduce students to the culture, social life and the education system of France.Sharing of experiences with seniors of the French Programme.

PLACEMENT
Placement is done by SFERE(Société Francaise d’Exportation des Ressources Educatives). During the students’ stay at INTEC, professors from France will come to conduct interviews and to find out students’ interest for placement purposes.
