After finishing my STPM , how can I be a lecturer in local university ?

In order to become a lecturer at local university, you have to be a degree graduate. In other words, you must finish your degree first, then you can apply for lecturer job at university using your academic degree qualification in the related field.
For certain local public universities, you need a higher academic qualification (Master’s or PhD) in order to apply for lecturer job, for example to become a lecturer at University of Malaya (UM) you need at least a PhD.
To become a lecturer at private colleges, the minimum requirement is a diploma.
