There are two sides to a coin. What is your choice? Students in high school cannot work during school hours, and those who want to work need part-time work schedules. Part-time work schedules allow high school students to work after school and on the weekends. However, High schools students often try to squeeze part-time work into their busy school schedule and their academics can suffer. It all depends on the work load and the student’s abilities.
Thank you @Dreams for pointing out both sides of the coin (pros and cons) of whether student should go for part time jobs. In the end it’s really up to a student to weight the advantages and disadvantages of doing part time job and decide on their own due to their various circumstances and needs.
Personally I did part time jobs during my free time and I find the experiences and skills I have gained are much more precious than the pay I got.
