What is the best pen to use for SPM / exams?

The official rules state that only black or blue ballpoint pens are allowed. This is to prevent ink smudging.

I’m used to using gel pens (eg. Pilot G-2 05) because it’s quicker, neater, and less painful to write. I usually have to press with a lot of effort just to make a line using a ballpoint pen.

Can anyone suggest good ballpoint pens to use? :pen:

Hi @happycat, Faber Castel’s 0.5 or 0.7 ballpoint are pretty smooth to write with.
However, there are some water-resistant gel pens that don’t smudge, like Faber castel or pilot 0.38. I used my gel pens during spm last year. :slightly_smiling_face:
