Why are people going to local foreign universities?

In recent years, there has been heaps and heaps of high school graduates wanting to pursue their university studies overseas. Australia is definitely up there in the top ranks with the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Every year there are almost 200,000 students flying down under, in search for a more liberating and worldly varsity life.

But of course, not all of us were born with a silver spoon in our mouths. The Ringgit isn’t going up any higher and fees getting a little steeper each year, it can get quite straining to the pocket.

Additionally, some people go to local foreign universities with the impression that they handle education better. Some may also look at the syllabus or the branding.

On the other hand, some universities offer opportunities for the student to study at the overseas campus (Australia/UK/USA) for a semester or two. One is required to apply to be considered for this program.
